Maple Leafs fire coach

The Toronto Maple Leafs fired their head coach. Toronto has been trying really hard to make to to playoffs and once in a while they have some success but they don't go too far.

I think that Toronto's problem is their ownership. They make business decisions that don't ever seem to help their on-ice team. Players just seem to come to Toronto and play worse than they have in their career. It's bizarre.

Way to go, Toronto. Paul Maurice was not even close to the problem. Maybe letting go of Tuuka Raask for Andrew Raycroft was. Maybe poor business decisions was. Maybe aquiring aging guys like Eric Lindros was.

I think its true that toronto has had a bad track record for quite a while, they seem to make players worse or if they make them better they just trade them off.
