Return of the Glowpuck

It has been reported that VS. is testing a glowpuck much like the Fox version of the same ten years ago. The VS. puck will be far more advanced, and won't change the weight or feel of the puck.

Anyone think the glowpuck is a good idea to bring back? I think if they did it right, it could be successful. The Fox glowpuck in 1996 wasn't technologically advanced enough, and hopefully the new one would fix that.

I wouldn't mind something like in video games, a simple shadow around the puck that makes it more visible to the TV viewer. No red or blue metor tail is needed, that makes it look like NHL Hitz. Also, I'd be great to have it as a seperate channel for those who watch it on Center Ice. Two channels for the game, one with "VSTrax" and one without.

I think this may make it better to see for the viewers in some cases, but it all depends on how the players like it.
