Lockout?

I heard today on a sports show that the NFL could seriously lockout like the NHL did a couple of years ago. The players union OK'd a lockout as an extreme measure, if they didn't get some of what they want. Do you guys think an NFL lockout could really happen?

Maybe they'll get new players like "The Replacements" :p

i dont think that the nfl lockout can happen.The situations were different with nhl but still nothing can be said very surely in games.

I don't think it will happen either, but if it did, A LOT more people would be pissed off about it. The NFL is HUGE compared to the NHL or any other sport. I think there might be mass riots and chaos if the NFL locked out. :p

It'll be interesting to see what would come of it if the NFL had a lock out. Certainly, it'd get more attention than the NHL's lockout.

But like you mentioned, I wouldn't mind seeing a real life "Replacements". :)
