WBA super middleweight champion Anthony Mundine has been hospitalized in Sydney with a possibly career-threatening eye infection. The doctor has said that it could take days,months for the natural cure. Most them suspect that his career is over by this.

Any information if it was related to boxing or something else? I have never heard of a boxer getting an eye infection from an injury, but I guess if he took a shot in his eye socket something could have happened. Sad to see a talented star end his career like that, but something like that is hard to come back from. Best wishes on a fast recovery.

He is a real fighter as far as I have read about him and he will surely come out of it.The eye infection,I am sure will not keep him out for long.

Anthony Mundine is indeed a brilliant fighter and i did not know that his eye infection is this much dangerous.he has all the wishes of his fans and i hope that his career is not at stake.
