yes the age of your brother is too small and it would be unsafe to get him the same.but i think you should try it on the following site: wwww.baazi.com

Depending on location try craigslist this way you can go see the bike hear it run check for damage etc. Plus it is a new season kids are getting bigger so they will unload their old bikes to get a new one!

This is not the right age to indulge into these kind of activities.Your mother is doing the right thing by not supporting him.You can channelize his energy towards some other activity, may be it clicks. He can go ahead with his idea little later.

I am not sure about your area but I promote it 100% keeps kids out of trouble and they will actually listen to what you teach them now. If you show them how to ride now they respect the bike and the sport. The problem is when they get older they have no fear think they are on a bicycle and the next thing you know something bad happens.
Goes the same with firearms I was brought up with them very young, which made me aware of the dangers and to respect and not play with them. The curiosity is gone.
Now streetbikes I am just a mainiac:cool:

i agree with mainiax, he is not that young. If you will support him from now then in future he will be much comfortable with bikes.Experience teaches a lt.So go for it but under proper training.

i also agree with you. i think that letting a kid engage in that kind of sport is not very advisable. it is a dangerous sport and being expert is not enough to be sure of your safety. Accidents can not be predicted.
