anyone uses myspace?

hello i think myspace is a destination not for finding your friends but some people may use it to promote their projects.I also use facebook but i found myspace a better place for all purposes.
what are your views?

I like Myspace but I get bored of it too. It's just a habit to check it daily, see if I have anything new, and then log back off.

I have a facebook too but it confuses me and there's a lot of stuff I don't like about it. One is that it's harder to search for people who might have common interests unless you join groups. So basically you're restricted to adding people from your schools because those are the people you can find (unless there's other options I haven't found, I'm still a bit new at it)

Another is that I hate having to invite people in order to use most of the applications. It drives me crazy because I hate getting a million notifications about applications that I don't care about, and I hate sending requests to people who probably aren't going to like my application. It's annoying.

I am not into social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. I find them rather childish and also prefer real life social interactions.

I use facebook more than myspace. But I do agree that myspace and facebook are good platforms for promoting yourself. It's a good free way of doing that.

I don't use myspace but think its a pretty good social hangout. Of course with the popularity of Facebook, people do not use it as much as they used to.
