Big Brown won the big race yesterday, but the win was overshadowed because Eight Belles, the filly of the group, had to be put down after shattering both front ankles. :( It's just another testament, to me, that horse racing, no matter how old and traditional a sport it is, is simply barbaric and cruel.:mad:
