Been a Giants fan for 36 years now, since I was 4. Asked dad what that was on tv, he said that is football, NY vs Dallas Cowboys. Dallas is our enemy.
We lived in N.Y. at the time so it was obvious who to root for. When I moved to S.F. Bay Area in California the Winers, I mean Niners sucked, so everybody here just told me to keep rooting for Giants. I did/do. It was surprising how many fans of the niners there were suddenly when they started winning super bowls.
Anyhow, if it aint the Giants is better sure be NFC EAST!

Its all about the Raiders. Just like you camp, I have been loyal to the Raiders for years. Though they are doing horrible, I will always be a raiders fan. I hope they comeback this year. :D

The measure of a true "fan" is supporting them no matter how bad they are. If you can still wear your teams' colors when they go 1-16, then you have the right to call yourself a fan. Just be prepared to deal with a whole lot of hecklers!

I forget the year. maybe that should be Y E A R S when the Giants went to the Super Bowl. I remember they beat Buffalo. I HATED em then. I rooted against em. Which is kind of crazy in light of the fact that I had a pretty good hate stored up for the Bills who pretty much had OUR number for quite a while.
The sight of Bill Parcells made me cringe. I didn't like Simms at all. STILL DON'T!
I'll be pulling for those same Giants Sunday. Go Giants.
Why I hated the Giants bsck then I don't know. I do know I just didn't like Phil Simms. Nor was I a fan of the glitzy LT. The Giants had it goin on tho, I'll give ya that. They won a lot of games because they won the war in the trenches.
Its ironic that Parcells is in Dolphinlandia now callin the shots. He may not be coaching but I bet if his team loses he will take it just as hard as he did when
any of the teams he coached lost.
Now New England is the hated team. At least by me anyway. I've heard lot's of people who arent NE fans gush and moon over how great they are. They ARE pretty damn good if not THEE BEST.
For me their will always be huge questions about how much is good about them. I firmly believe the franchise is corrupt. They cheat. And the NFL has let em get away with it. Almost as if the league has become corrupt and decided to have ONE GREAT SIGNATURE TEAM after many years of parity fueled mediocrity denuded the landscape of any superb teams. More will be revealed later..... (The pizza just arrived)

Yeah, Plax's prediction ended up being too conservative! And though he didn't have a great game, he did catch the game-winning TD. That's gotta sting for the Pats, who've been a pretty proud team this year.
Anyway, you have to be happy for Eli. I love it when people rush to judgment about someone, labeling them a "choker" or somesuch, only to have it come back to bite them. There's way too much speculation about these sorts of things, and everyone's so quick to act as if they've got everything pegged. But if sports has shown us anything, it's that we don't know half of what we think we do. You can't peg Peyton, Eli, or anyone else. They're in the league for a reason, and in the case of the Manning bros, they were drafted #1 for a reason.
Congrats to the Giants. A great victory, and certainly a great karmic victory. ;)

I remember when people were saying the Giants would struggle
without Tiki, and that coach Coughlin should go.The Street & Smith football annual picked them to finish last in their division.
Now, Coughlin's a genious, Tiki is forgotton, the Street Smith guys
look like they need a new perfession.
Good thing the Giants won, I can only imagine if they didn't, Welker could have possibly got the mvp.Can you imagine trading a guy to the team that ties your perfect season, and he gets mvp? That would be a healess wound for the Dolphins franchise.I like the fact Junior Seau, and Randy Moss didn't get their "easy" rings for joining the PATS.Remember? Seau retires, he's had enough, the game has passed him by, "I'm sorry Miami, but I just don't have enough to play anymore in the Nation........Hello New England? Yea, I'm interested,
I'll talk about returning to the game....I still have some fire in me"......
HA, hope he never makes it back.
There's also the Chargers, who made it to the AFC Championship game, and if only they had the guy they drafted a few years ago, instead of who they ended up with......maybe just maybe....well, there's always next year.
