I have known this as a good exercise because I have found out that one of the PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) players does this training so that he could strengthen his body. The guy is Ali Peek who I think is one of the most dominating forces on the backboards.

Yes certainly boxing is a kind of overall workout in real sense. It not only strengthens your body but gives flexibility to your whole body and tones it up well.

I have also found out that some local actors and actresses are doing this sport to help them stay fit. The actor that I’m pertaining to is Paolo Contis which has a small frame when he was just new to the industry. Judy Anne Santos is a known actress that has a big cheek but now she is so sexy right now because of doing this sport.

I think that boxing is a good exercise because this is a complete exercise program. You can exercise the arm, legs and all of the parts of your body while doing it with a sparring partner.

I’m thinking of going to boxing for myself not to compete but to have a good workout and also to release some stress. I also believe that it is a good way to release some tensions.:)

Hummm boxing is a good exercise for our arms and upper body. But i think swimming is the best for whole body. Now these days yoga is in trend. Most of the people are doing yoga and they got good result too.So its depend on us which exercise we choose.

It is true that swimming is good for the whole body. I don't think any other sport can be compared to it. But boxing is good exercise nonetheless, it really works your upper body and creates good balance, and its good cardio too.

i think boxing is a good exercise. and for women, if you want to slim down, boxing is perfect for you. boxing does not have to be applied in fights, you can just do boxing an exercise.

Good exercise, bad entertainment. I would spend my money on a UFC fight before a boxing main event.

Boxing is absolutely good exercise. I may be showing my ignorance, but I've never considered yoga exercise....... just more or less a stretching routine.

Heck, how could anyone not consider boxing a good exercise workout. Not from a lack of physical exertion thats for sure.

I agree with you. Here in my country many folks are into boxing now not as a professional just to keep themselves fit and secondary for protection too. :D
