The Red Wings are totally hot right now and I think they are on their way to a Stanley Cup Championship. They had me worried during the Nashville series but have been totally hot during this Avalanche series. What does anyone else think?

We'll see. I'm a bit of a homer, to be sure, but I still think my Pens match up well with pretty much everyone at this point, so I think they could give them a run for their money should they meet in the Stanley Cup Finals. The Red Wings have as good a shot as anyone at this point, though, especially now that San Jose has been knocked out.

I think that the Red Wings has the greater chance in winning the Stanley Cup..I think that the Stars, Flyers, Pens are not that tough..Wings are invincible..: )

As a Blues fan.. I hate the Red Wings. Anybody but them is fine with me.

I don't buy most of the "tough" arguments. I don't think we always know how tough teams are until we see them in action, but the Pens are pretty tough anyway (case in point: last night's game), and have shown they can handle any style of play. The Stanley Cup Finals aren't going to be won by the most brutish team...not this year. I think there'll be a lot more finesse and skill than we've seen in some of the series to this point.

It's 3-2 now in the series against the Stars, but I think the Wings will pick it up, win the series, and have a legitimate chance at the cup. The Wings always seem to get hot after a couple of tough losses, and maybe it will carry on into the finals. :)

Wings look amazing this year. They're deadly on all parts of the ice, and have guys on the 3rd or 4th lines that would be 2nd liners on any other team. Not to mention we have guys scratched that are equally effective.

I don't know about that. Our 3rd and 4th liners always have potential, and sometimes shine... and then disappear for stretches at a time. They haven't done anything in the last two games against Dallas.

One game down, four more to go. The Detroit Red Wings are looking dominant. Everyone on the team is looking in sync. You know when Mikeal Sammuelson scores twice, it's going to be a good game for the Wings. :p

yeah they are really on a streak and are coming on really strong. If they keep it up they will definitely have a good chance.
