Chess players?

Do we have any chess players here? :) I was just curious because that's still my favorite sport that I'm actually good at, and requires no real physical violence. :) Hopefully we have some other chess addicts in our ranks, because I'd be curious to learn from a few masters. My opening and ending gameplay are okay, but I fall apart in the middle. :D

I have played a lot of this game in my teens.I used to be quite good at it.My game strategy was extensive use of both knights and the queen to attack.

My favorite opening is King-pawn. Then I usually bring knights out and then bishops. Like I said, I'm okay with the beginning development and getting pieces out to good places, but I fall apart towards the middle. I'm good at defending but lousy at attacking. :D

I have played chess before and I was just in the middle meaning that I don’t suck at this game and I’m not a master. I play it just for fun, so if I loose I never got angry. I remember that one of my opponents got angry when I manage to beat him. I’m not going to play with him again.

I've played in tournament play before and you really meet a lot of characters. I much prefer online chess where I can lose and not feel like anyone knows me. :D

i am playing this game from my childhood and its one of my all time favourite games.Its a great fun to play this game with a brainy opponent.
