Now a days lot glamor has been added to the game of cricket. Now what I personally feel that with all this isn't the main focus of the game completly lost.Do you agree? The players are seen in promos all the time, they are rolling in money, why they will concentrate on their form in game???

Money is good. But players should not forget that game is above money and glamor. Players should have contracts such as their game is not affected and also they get some money. But I disagree from the fact that game is lost by glamor.

yes now the face of every sport is changing.Rather than playing for the glory of their country, players are more focussed on the things which generate bucks to them.

Well I honestly can't say anything about cricket...but I know that a lot of american sports have lose their focus. It's all about the money and the player's status. It's no longer about making the plays to make the plays. It's about the money.

That is very true. But I think its true with every professional sport that gets popular and a lot of followers. If there are a lot of viewers, businesses are willing to pay big amounts to try to attract these viewers.

Game is always game for players. Its just that people watch sports for many reasons. But when it comes to players I don't think that commercialization has any negative affect on them apart from the fact that number of matches per year have really shoot up.

I don't think all the sponsorship can cause people to lose focus because the main reason they are watching the game is because they like the game itself, the commercializing is just a way to profit from the viewers.
