If a vigorous workout at gym makes your knees and hip hurt, it is better to shift to floor exercises.This is not only a great method to reduce the strain on your joints but it helps in sculpting your body.:) :)

I have exercise before on a gym and I could say that not all of their exercises will give you pain on the joints because they are well balance. Aside from weight lifting we are also doing some floor exercises.

I barely even use the gym. I think body weight exercises can do wonders for you if you do them properly, but you could also incorporate it into your normal workout.
