Catching balls

How many baseballs have you caught at games? My boyfriend and I went to a game last season marlins vs mets here in Florida and we had caught 3 balls throughout the whole game. But it probably helped that we were out in the outfield...I've caught about 4 or 5 balls since I was little going to baseball parks.

well catching 3 balls in a single session. ..quite cool.
I too have caught balls many times.I dont remember the exact figures but i can recall that in a single game i caught maximum 2 balls.

yes its quite often and i too have caught balls many times.I remember when i was watching the match with my friends, we caught 3 balls in a sequence.

never caught a foul balls at any pro level...

when i was a child the little league would give u a soda pop if u returned a foul ball.

i dont remember exactly so i guess i caught the ball once or twice only.I think that catching the balls in sequence is not more than a coincidence.

I remember a story on ESPN in the late 80's. This one kid and the old Candlestick park hopped over the railing and caught 7 balls. In his story, he mentioned techniques he uses to average 13 baseballs in batting practice. I've caught one, came close to two, and bought one off a kid so I could say that Nolan Ryan gave me one after some shmuck pushed me down to catch another.
