Navigator-how very important.

Do the motor sports racers get assisted by navigators.As the driver remains too occupied on the wheel,does he requires to be navigated all the while?

i am not very sure but i also think that the motor sports racer are assisted by navigators but their job becomes very difficult without the navigators.

i dont know about this but i wonder that instead of getting assistance of navigators, they met with so frequent accidents.What will happen without them?
