is match fixing prevalent in soccer??

personally, i think that there are some players who play for money(by hook or crook)

Where there is popularity of a sport match fixing has to be there.Lots and lots of matches are fixed in soccer too.Everybody makes money that way,although the sport suffers.

well i never knew that soccer is also having this blot.I used to think that it happens only with cricket but for generating money any game can be used by some antisocial elements.

I don't know about soccer but I know that WWF is fixed and also there is great amount of betting on for POLO and also for horse riding.
Once you have this match fixing then you really loose trust from games.

Now days you can't just have the original charm of any sport you can say any sport.So much of money is involved that all matches and events are surely rigged.

Yeah i agree with you.Every sport nowadays has become a victim of this Match fixing devil.We are really can not able to see quality sports because of it.Although we have not heard of any thing like that in the game of soccer,We just cannot say that soccer is not a victim of Fixing.We have heard about it in the game of cricket and In tennis too.So there may be a chance but lets hope that there isnt fixing in soccer.
