I sure hope so. I don't see why he wouldn't. He still has amazing numbers. After a while in the league, some team will be doing terribly and they will need to boos their team. That's when it will be time for Bonds to boost that team.

I think Bonds is done. Although he was and probably still is an incredibly gifted players, he's done so much to alienate himself. What team would want him to come into their clubhouse and disrupt whatever chemistry they have. The Giants put up with him for all those years because of his talent but in the process he created tension in the clubhouse. He was also incredibly selfish in not doing things like pinch hitting because he didn't want to. So what team in their right mind would want a player like him?

I don't think he'll ever play again. No baseball team wants to take a chance on him, and the media circus that he is sure to come with. I think he might play out of the country somewhere, where they would freely welcome the media circus. :)

He has too much baggage to come along with him. You'd have the media all over your ass and the fact he's a douchebag outside of baseball doesn't help.

The same goes for Mike Vick in the NFL.

His numbers were only good because of the steroids or whatever he was on. I mean com'on do we want the kids to be looking up to him as role models? He won't play for the majors ever again.

I think Bonds brought all of this on himself. Although baseball is a game of skill; personality, interaction with teammates, interaction with the fans, and interaction with the media go a long way. From what I've read, it sounds like he's been a jerk and a prima dona since he was in college and who knows what he was like in high school. Although I'm a Giants fan, as far as I'm concerned, Hank Aaron is still the home run king.

NO! He's finished. And so will his HR record; broken by Madonna's Rodriguez in about 5-6 years.
