Pedro Martinez threw 4 scoreless innings for the Mets against the Tigers the other day. As he gets older and older, do you think he'll be alright this year or do you think age will finally catch up to him?

he is pretty slightly built....... they have been predicting his demise for years!

I think age matters a lot but the majority of the persons game depends upon his attitude towards the game and how he feels about it.

It appears as though he will continue to pitch this year. I just don't think he will be very effective. His elbow has gone through too much trauma over the years. Now he is simply a big name without a big fear attached to it.
