tell us who is your favourite team?
mine has to be the Yankess
I love baseball, I find it so relaxing and at the same time, exhilarating to watch. I regret to say that I have not been to see the Cincinnati Reds since they've been in their new stadium for the past 5 or so years, but when I lived near the old stadium, I practically lived in it!
It's still a great sport to catch on the telly! Not too much walking that way. :)

Yankees are great and all, but I have been an Angels fan due to me living in LA. Either the angels or the dodgers actually. The team are both located in my hometown. lol

The New York Yankees because Their 26 titles make them the most successful franchise in North American professional sports history, passing the Montreal Canadiens' 24 titles in 1999. They are also the only team represented in the National Baseball Hall of Fame at every position. :)

I think that the Yankees have the team to win the World Series. They are really great. I do hope that they are the one that will win it. They do have the talent for it and if memory serves me right they are the ones who have the major members of the team that is nominated on the Hall of Fame.
Of course, I'm going to say that they are the best.

Eh? Only former players are nominated for the Hall of Fame. If you mean that they have many players who might end up in the Hall of Fame, well, sure, but that can say more about the Hall of Fame than the quality of Yankee players. Derek Jeter, for example, simply doesn't have the numbers to be anywhere near the Hall, but because he's known for playing hard and was on good teams, he'll probably end up in there, anyway.
The Yankees will compete, but they're not the favorite to win this year. They were too old last year, and they haven't gotten much younger. But they'll be in the mix.

I enjoy the Twins. It used to only be because I grew up there, but as I continue to watch them, I love their style of play. I also appreciate the fact that they'd rather grow a team than buy a team. They have such a small salary cap, but still find ways to make a push each year.

My husband has totally got me hooked on the Red Sox. Terry Francona is doing an awesome job with this talented team. Also, being a native of Colorado, I always follow the Rockies.

I know I said I was a Twins fan, but I'd also like to point out that I really do enjoy going to Brewer's game. Not because I like the Brew Crew, but because of the tailgating. It is incredible. The parking lot is FULL of people. Most times I'm playing bean bags and drinking brews so late into the game that I don't get inside the Ballpark until the 5th inning. It's a good thing too, because I wouldn't want to miss the sausage race. Therefore in thankfulness for a lot of fun times, I'm giving Milwaukee a shout out.

Ah yes. Wisconsinites do know how to party. However, it usually shows itself in the excessive amount of fat people in the state. Milwaukee was #2 this year, only behind Dallas. We've got cheese, beer, and cold weather as our excuses. I don't know what Dallas' is though.

I got a close friend that is from the cheese state, good guy. I call him zoolander, he has totally adopted the cali dress and lifestyle. he has to cut the hi lites out his hair when he goes home.

No kidding. Getting rid of the highlights might be a good idea. :) He can exchange them for a mullet, an orange hunting cap, a miller high life, and a #4 jersey.

No offense to all the fans out there but I am so not fond of the Yankees. I was born and raised in Michigan and am very loyal to my home teams so I will have to say that my favorite MLB team is the Detroit Tigers!

My team is the Indians. Cleveland's playing .500 ball right now, but they have a gift of second-playing teams and realizing strengths and weaknesses. They're in a weak division and right in the thick of things. They'll do okay, but maybe not the Series.

Since I was born and raised in San Francisco, I'd have to admit that it's the San Francisco Giants. It was 1971 and I was 11 years old when the Giants still had Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Juan Marichal and Gaylord Perry, just to name some of the greats (yes, I know, Perry threw a spitter). Also, there was a young right fielder named Bobby Bonds who could hit with power and steal bases.

Tigers. They're my local team and I've liked them for a while. Been to more than a few games in my life! Hopefully they pick it up and play better in the rest of the season. I have no idea how a team with that much talent is 16-26.

The Detroit Tigers. Local team, loveable losers. I can't say they're very high on my list of must watch teams, as I don't find baseball very interesting, but I'll admit I was hooked watching them going to the World Series.
