love animals but I am not sure that it is fair to give this much jail time to him

I dont even know how much time he DID get. But I heard he has been doing things that will optimally reduce his stint and he may be back before you know it. If it was in Florida he would have gotten a much longer sentence.

Actually there wsa just something in the news about this. Some senator or congressman was up in arms that there WASN'T a law for that(I think it was in FL - not sure)
Some hick up here was telling me that ..... Nah I better not post what he said. Its pretty sick. It had to do with rubbing ham glaze on the testes and sitting on a 4 foot stump. The cow comes over and and and AND more will be revealed at a later date.........

I don't know if the punishment was excessive to begin with, but it certainly wasn't once you take into consideration how evasive he was afterwards. He essentially lied to investigators, changing his story more than once.

Yea, Vick had no plan. His boys folded on him like falcon pass blockers....

I maybe way outta line but I fail to see how fighting dogs is all that bad. People have been doing this for centuries. **** fighting still goes on by Asians and the list goes on.
People walk free after stealing blind from employers and people yet he gets 3 years for doing what all he and his comtempories have been doing all his life.
Hell I wood lie too if I thought I cood get away with it.

I agree that it was excessive. far worse happens all the time.

It's not like Mike didn't deserve it. He didn't exactly have the best track record with the 'water bottle marijuana' after all. He broke a law and since people get punished for breaking laws, so did he.

Very fair and not at all excessive. What he did was wrong and he deserved to be punished. I did feel bad for the Falcons last season, though. Terrible playing throughout the season and then the coach left before the season was even over.

Yeah. The Falcons season was wretched. Hopefully they start rebuilding this year. I heard that they're going to trade for as many draft picks as possible. That's REALLY rebuilding from the ground up.

I love dogs, but I just thought far worse happens everyday.
what they do to produce veal is a crime.
if you eat meat and dairy you contribute to the suffering of animals.
what vick did to dogs was legal to do to a black man 150 years ago.
we applied city laws to country life.

I think that the punishment was fair. He should be in jail for a long time....that was really cruel what he did to those dogs. He should get treated how those dogs were treated.

yes he did very wrong and i think that the punishment is not at all excessive. In fact others should learn a lesson from his punishment.

he cannot be forgiven for what he did to dogs.He desrve the punishment and there is no point to think about some better treatment.
