Saturday night the Leafs lost 2-1 to Boston at the Gardens. This is yet another game the Leafs should have won at home. Hard to say whether it was the Leafs offense or defense that was more at fault for the loss. I’m calling it a tie since there was plenty of room for improvement all around.
This should have been an easy win against Boston, but for some unknown reason, the Leafs seem to have so much trouble taking down teams in their own division. Whats up with that?

I agree it was not one of the Leafs best games. I thought Boston outplayed them overall and deserved the win.

Its part of game, don,t get disappointed, this usually happens, only one can win at a time, that's the rule of sports.

At this point, the Leafs need to draft well and keep the guys who have played well, ala Toskala and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. It's always a shame when a team with so much history like the Toronto Maple Leafs, an original six team, becomes the laughing stock of a league.

The problem is that they consistently stay in the hunt for the playoffs until the last 2 weeks of the season, when they fall to 9th or 10th. They do well enough to mess up a good draft pick, but bad enough not to go anywhere.

yeah now they are not having the chance. They lost some matches which could have won very easily.I dont think a good draft pick will help them.

The Maple Leafs need to completely bomb for like 4 straight seasons, draft #1 each time, and have a Pittsburgh Penguins esq comeback.
THE MAPLE LEAFS HAVE MADE IT TO THE 2012 STANLEY CUP FINALS!

I think the leafs are just losing their touch every season and feel bad for the fans they always let down.
