yes of course he can not be compared with any other fielder because he is the player who gave recognition to fielding.Otherwise players use to concentrate either on batting or bowling.

Good fielding is in fact very important for a side to win the match.The number of runs saved gradually add up to be quite a large number.Jonty definitely made his team win by saving many runs.

Guys that is true he is all time and everyone's favourite fielder in the world cricket.But this is history.Currently Gibbs(South Africa), Ponting(Aus) and Yuvraj Singh are the best.

there are many good fielders but nobody has even come closer to this man.He holds the world record for most dismissals by a non-wicketkeeper in a one-day international, after taking five catches against the West Indies.Isn't it great....

jhonty is the best fielder cricket have ever produced
though there are likes of gibbs, symonds, yuvi , mohd kaif, ponting.
but nobody can ever match the legendary jhonty

Agreed, and he is appointed as fielding coach of many countries. He was the one who emphasized that importance of fielding because he really saved about 25 extra runs per match of 50 overs

no doubt he is one of the best players in the game of cricket...he gave a statement to the world that it is not by bowling well or batting well a team win matches, it is because of the fielding that win matches for the team...as the quote goes "catches win you matches"
