When ever we want to know about the best bowler in the world cricket, two names come up..one is Murlidharan and other is Shane Warne
I think Shane Warne is more accurate and lethal bowler than Murli..whats your opinion about it?

shane warne,a great bowler no doubt, his accuracy rocks man,but murli,o my god, with those big eyes opened while bowling almost scares every batsman,no doubt a great bowler too.

At the moment I would say that Lee just edges the best bowler in the world. Murali has been below par of late and whilst their are challengers like Steyn and Sharma (what a find for India!), Lee gets my vote.
As for the op, Warne is the better bowler in terms of all round game (mental, ability to read the game etc), Murali is the more lethal on all surfaces. That's not to take anything away either of them but just my take on it.

Honestly speaking Shane Warne is the best bowler in the world IMO but according to the ICC rankings though the best test bowler is Muralitharan followed by Ntini then Shane Warne.
Let you know that warne is a also regarded as one of the finest leg spin bowlers. He is a useful lower-order batsman and holds the record for most Test runs without a century. This guy is my favorite bowler ;)

You may have seen some outdated tables there as I have the following in terms of test bowlers (current):
1 M. Muralidaran SL
2 D.W. Steyn SA
3 S.R. Clark AUS
4 B. Lee AUS
5 M. Ntini SA
Obviously Steyn is there due his good performances recently, Ntini is a bit of a shock as he's had a poor 12 months.
In terms of all time then we have:
1 S.F. Barnes ENG 932
2 G.A. Lohmann ENG 931
3 Imran Khan PAK 922
4 M. Muralidaran SL 920
5 G.D. McGrath AUS 914
Warne comes in at 15 with an all time high of 905 - seems low to me. Then again the above are only stats.

I had a crazy professor at my old high school with a glass eye. He used to bowl upwards of 270 every time he touched the black sphere. My vote is for him. (Sorry, I don't follow PBA all that much).

I think for me the best bowler is an asian... His name is Rafael Nepomuceno. He won the World cup 4 times already.

HA HA,all these years I have I have been scared off by his pouncing eyes:D :D but till date we have yet to come across such an effective bowler.Shane Warne also enjoyed a glorious career as a bowler.
